Harold came on board with the Town of Belhaven on opening day of the baseball season 2005 as a part-time employee. In January 2008 Harold was named a full-time employee, to allow him to focus on recreation programs. Harold is a Belhaven native and has been involved with and participated in sports all of his life. Harold has two daughters and three grandchildren. When Harold is not on the ball fields here in Belhaven, he is either enjoying a sporting event as a participant or a spectator. Community League Football Belhaven Recreation
The Community League Football Program is taking sign-ups for 5/6 Flag Football for a fee of $30.00. All Tackle Fees are $40.00 for in-town participants and $45.00 for out of town participants for the7/8 Tackle Football, 9/10 Tackle Football and 11/12 Tackle Football programs this upcoming season. Sign-Ups begin June 7 through July 24. The age groups are based on the age of the child as of August 1, 2010. It is very important to sign-up before the deadline as the first practice is scheduled for August 9, 2010. Should you have any questions please contact Harold Nixon at 943-8037.
