| Harold Nixon - Recreation Director |
Harold came on board with the Town of Belhaven on opening day of the baseball season 2005 as a part-time employee. In January 2008 Harold was named a full-time employee, to allow him to focus on recreation programs. Harold is a Belhaven native and has been involved with and participated in sports all of his life. Harold has two daughters and three grandchildren. When Harold is not on the ball fields here in Belhaven, he is either enjoying a sporting event as a participant or a spectator. Sign Ups
Sign Ups can be made at the Municipal Building at 315 E. Main Street (8 AM-5 PM); or the Charlie Smith Center (Beach) 8 AM -5 PM Monday thru Friday or Town of Belhaven website: www.belhavennc.us (Recreation) and mail form with check as instructed.

Belhaven Recreation Women’s Basketball
Basketball – New League
The Belhaven Recreation Department is sponsoring a Women’s Basketball Program. Minimum Age for participation is 20 and older; Participation Fee $40.00 each person. Sign Ups March 5 through March 12 and with enough participation; the League will begin March 22 with game times on Monday and Wednesday nights.
Belhaven Recreation Women’s Volleyball
Volleyball
The Belhaven Recreation Department is sponsoring Women’s Volleyball. Anyone interesting in posting a team, please call Harold Nixon, Recreation Director at 943-8037. Cost per participant is $40.00 with sign ups March 5 through March 12.
